95.05Mc/s
That was the frequency when Radio Leicester started fifty years ago,
apparently. Why the half channel?

Dunno. The channels are 300kHz BTW - that is the current separation to avoid adjacent channel interference. Co channel interference is conveniently avoided by the FM capture effect.

And Radio 3 Wenvoe 92.125 MHz, Llangollen also had offsets.

It was all to do with preventing LO beats with PMR users nearby
(geographically and spectrally)

I could never get Radio Leeds to work very well in Hunslit either too much
mulltipath from some place, and some adjacent channel clobbering it.
